“Various iterations of the Samsung Galaxy S will hit the U.S. market soon, and the first details on its replacement have already leaked out. The Galaxy S2 will supposedly be a significant upgrade, with a very fast processor and large screen.According to an unconfirmed report, this cutting-edge smartphone will debut running Android OS 3.0 on a 2 GHz processor, a chip twice as fast as the ones in common use today. It will have 1 GB of RAM and a 4 GB ROM. This device will allegedly include 32 GB of internal storage as well as a microSD memory card slot potentially giving it 32 GB more capacity. An image of the Galaxy S2 that has leaked out shows that it will have a tablet shape. It will reportedly be built around a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED 2 Touchscreen with a resolution of 1280×720. Support for this new resolution is supposed to be added to Android OS 3.0. In addition to high-speed cellular wireless networking, this model — AKA the Samsung i9200 — is going to feature Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and an A-GPS receiver. The leaked specifications list includes an 8 MPx camera with FullHD (1080p) video recording, while the leaked image apparently shows a front-facing camera. It will also reportedly boast an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. According to the early reports that are coming out of Russia, the Samsung Galaxy S2 isn’t expected to be unveiled before early 2011.” via brighthand.com
