The Mobile Navigator from NAVIGON is now available for North American drivers on the iPhone. The NAVIGON app works on both the iPhone 3G and 3GS, and is a single purchase turn-by-turn GPS solution. The app weighs in at nearly 1.3 GB, and is available for .99 until August 15th, after which it will sell for .99. This is a first-look of the app with a few days of usage. I’ll follow up with a review after I’ve used it for a week or two. Overall, the app works well and runs fast. The simulated 3D world is nice and the voice directions are loud and clear. On the downside, the app appears to have no network connectivity, so that means no traffic data, and no live address look-up. samsunggalaxysforums.com Galaxy S Sygic GPS lock time indoors, I loaded up Sygic GPS in doors. On the first floor of a 6 floor apartment. As you can see the Galaxy S does a good job of getting 5 bars full recepction. Note, Yes I am next to the window. Under 6 floors I doubt any GPS could get a lock though all that iron and cement.

nice but they really need to make the transit layer available again.
Wow, very awesome!
this is the best, in montreal this works perfectly
This is amazing… I hope they have plans to work more with cities to speed along development of this until it gets to smaller cities like mine.
Also works for Vienna :o) Thank you Google!
But: The calculated route for “public transit” is correct but not fastest/shortest. But it’s OK for tourists
Now, this is a really cool idea.
great for looking a map
But the video doesn’t tell me WHERE to go.
Helpful anyway, thanks.
Google will you marry me
I know that King County Metro Bus in Seattle WA, does the Google Maps route listings. But, I don’t see listings for the Orlando FL’s LYNX bus system.
This is why die-hard Google fans aren’t just suckers for good PR.
Is this for US only or for any country?
A+ Google! You guys keep making it all better.
