i just got the sygic app from the itunes store and it doesn’t seem to have where I live to search how come?

Yea i found one and it’s 250 mb,working though most of the megabytes are the voices.

nope, it uses the internal GPS chip inside the iPhone 3g/3gs, no 2g.
No it does not. The maps are files installed on the iphone. Even the gps doesnt need internet. It only communicates with satellites. You could even use this the same way if you take your sim card out

Its great. It JUST uses GPS. no need to waste precious download limits in countrys with expensive and stingey mobile companys.
